OUR MISSION: To provide the best-possible sources for the manufacture of our client’s products in China, whether it’s an existing item or the development and production of something brand new. Our ultimate goal is to create value for both our clients and our suppliers through the formation and nurturing of lasting, happy and mutually beneficial relationships.

We promise you a high level of comfort and communication throughout the entire process, which includes: quotations, due diligence in factory selection, sampling, ordering, quality control, payment, shipping, customs paperwork and clearance, and delivery to your warehouse. We accomplish this by close coordination with our office in Shanghai and through our network of affiliates in the major manufacturing cities in China, who work with us through every step of the way. We follow the process very closely from here in the U.S.  Additionally, we travel to China on a regular basis to meet with our affiliates and visit the factories that manufacture our client’s products. Experience has taught us that nothing can or ever should be taken for granted.

We locate manufacturers using the resources of our Shanghai office, our network of affiliates and through the internet. We find the internet to be a useful tool because it assures a wide range of quotes, some from factories that have no other way to get their message out. A quote request over the internet for almost any product will get back dozens if not hundreds of responses. Internet quotes will be all over the board, some remarkably high and some unbelievably low. Because there is no way to tell who is actually at the other end, quotes are not relied on without a factory inspection. Getting quotes is actually just the beginning of a long process. There are many other important and time-consuming issues to consider and deal with.

Of course, price is important. But the lowest priced quote may not always be the best choice. What difference does it make if the price is cheap, but the goods are not up to the standards that you expect, or they are not received on time or not at all? There must be an optimum combination of price, quality of goods, and service provided. And, the factory must stand behind its work. Without all of the elements being right, price alone is meaningless. The factories that we use will be very competitive in pricing, while meeting all of the other necessary standards.

Quotes from Chinese factories are generally made based on F.O.B. pricing. This means that the price quoted is for the goods delivered to the port of departure in China, whether by sea or air. The buyer is responsible for arrangement and payment of shipping, customs, duties, taxes, insurance, freight forwarders and customs brokers, and delivery to their warehouse from the port of entry in the U.S.

Factories in China will not begin work on an order without a deposit of 30-50%, which is sent by wire to their bank in China. Who are you sending this money to? With F.O.B. terms, the balance of the payment is due as soon as the factory delivers the goods to the port of departure. This payment must be made by wire or by an irrevocable Letter of Credit. Your order has not even left China and you have paid in full! Are you comfortable with that? What if there is a problem and something goes wrong somewhere along the way and the goods are not delivered on time or they do not meet your quality standards? Then what?

Our office in Shanghai and our affiliates in China help us to make sure that any factory that we use will be a real manufacturing facility, with a good reputation, is capable of producing the goods as ordered, with quality and delivery as promised. And, that they are shipped using the most efficient and cost effective means possible, taking your needs into account. Our freight forwarders negotiate for the lowest possible freight charges, whether by sea or air. Once the shipment arrives here, our customs broker expedites the process: moving the goods from the port of entry, through customs, and on to your warehouse. Once the right factory produces an order for you, then reorders, while simpler, still require attention, to assure that consistent quality and delivery are maintained. As we have stressed, whether we're handling a new order or a reorder, nothing will ever be taken for granted.

We are sure we can help you if you are considering having products manufactured in China, or are already using a factory in China, and need help or just are not happy.

The bottom-line is that we promise our clients competitive per-unit pricing after all costs, quality that meets or exceeds their standards, delivery when promised and service that exceeds expectations.
